I met Alan and Catherine in YO! below, our first bar in 2001. Their enthusiasm to do a Japanese inspired clothes brand led to our launching a range early the following year.

In fact, the entire range had been commissioned, and production was underway and a lease signed on our first showroom in Ganton Street, W1 before we'd even signed the deal.
